This years honoree is the late J. Polk Cooley. 

The Roane County Heritage Commission helps with the restoration and preservation of our historic Roane County Courthouse, development of the Roane County Archives (one of the premier genealogical libraries in East Tennessee, and protection of collections of photographs and artifacts that illustrate the history of our community.
