4th Annual Play Fore Kennedy and Lincoln Golf Tournament

The "play Fore Kennedy" (now named Play Fore Kennedy and Lincoln) Golf Tournament was started in 2015 by Oak Ridge Country Club (ORCC) GM Jerry Williams and the ORCC members when our daughter Kennedy Ladd was diagnosed with MPS1 Hurler Syndrome.

With only a month to plan, they had 55 teams sign up and raised $35,000!!!  The money raised, helped the family tremendously during such a difficult time in their lives. 

Now the Ladd Family wants to find a cure and help other families.  They started the Kennedy Ladd Foundation, Inc. a 501(c)3 designated to do just that!  50% of all money raised go to fund research to cure MPS1 and the other 50% is to help other families and provide iPads to the kids that are coming into Transplant. 

On May 4, 2017 the Ladds welcomed a sweet baby boy, Lincoln Ladd.  On May 22, the Ladd's received devastating news that Lincoln also had Hurler Syndrome.

Hurler Syndrome occurs on average in about 1 out of every 100,000 babies born.  Children with Hurler Syndrome have many physical and mental problems.  If the damage is not stopped, children born with Hurler usually die by 5 to 10 years of age. 

The tournament and the money raised is truly changing lives and we couldn't do it without you!
