Safety Fest Tennessee

Safety Fest TN’s official kick-off is Tuesday, September 11, at the New Hope Center at the Y-12 National Security Complex (Y-12).

A lineup of Tuesday’s activities includes:

• 11:0a.m. – Black Hawk helicopter landing in the courtyard of Y-12.
• 9:00a.m. – Community Safety Forum, featuring nationally recognized motivational speaker, Chip Eichelberger, presenting Own It!  http://getswitchedon.com/own-it.html.
• 12:30p.m. – Leadership Engagement Roundtable, moderated by Joe Estey, a Human Performance Improvement Specialist, and featuring top-level federal and contractor senior managers sharing their experiences in increasing the motivation and ability of their respective organizations to drive safety performance.
• 2:30p.m. – World Class Safety, featuring representatives from Valero and Total Safety In-Plant Service Center to present their respective safety programs that are the best of the best among local manufacturing facilities.
• 4:00p.m. – Review of the 35 Tennessee Workplace Fatalities 2017 by Steve Hawkins, TOSHA Administrator.
